I was going through my old sketchbooks and I found some that aren't half bad. This one is at least 10 years old maybe 15? If only I would have been working on this earlier, maybe I would have been a famous art-tiest! Well maybe not.

A collection of drawings, sketches, abstracts, random thoughts, ideas, images, dreams, frustrations and feelings put to paper via charcoal, conte, pastel, and pencil with the goal of possibly having these pictures considered as art.
What is Daily Charcoal?
These drawings stemmed from a conversation I had with an artist at an art show, he told me a quote from Chuck Jones (Warner Brother’s cartoons), “You have 50,000 terrible drawings, images, pictures inside you. The sooner you get them out, the sooner you will be able to create real art”.
For some reason this quote resonated with me. In an attempt to get rid of some of the terrible images inside me I just started drawing and putting ideas to paper.
Lastly this is somewhat of a visual diary. The culmination of a a day’s events, feelings, and thoughts put to paper.
I look forward to critique and commentary. Hopefully you will like some of my images.
