Ok, after reworking it a few times, I think I'm finally happy with it. Onto something new!

A collection of drawings, sketches, abstracts, random thoughts, ideas, images, dreams, frustrations and feelings put to paper via charcoal, conte, pastel, and pencil with the goal of possibly having these pictures considered as art.
What is Daily Charcoal?
These drawings stemmed from a conversation I had with an artist at an art show, he told me a quote from Chuck Jones (Warner Brother’s cartoons), “You have 50,000 terrible drawings, images, pictures inside you. The sooner you get them out, the sooner you will be able to create real art”.
For some reason this quote resonated with me. In an attempt to get rid of some of the terrible images inside me I just started drawing and putting ideas to paper.
Lastly this is somewhat of a visual diary. The culmination of a a day’s events, feelings, and thoughts put to paper.
I look forward to critique and commentary. Hopefully you will like some of my images.

This is nice. I like the sense of infinity you've created with the darkening shades.
i love this...i think of the city when teh power goes out.
it happened here in missoula once...where the entire city went out. it's amazing how quiet things get at night when there are no machines running.
